What's New
The Museum of Riverside Has Received the Highest National Recognition!
We proudly announce that the American Alliance of Museums has reaccredited us! Accreditation is the highest national recognition for museums, and only about 3% of U.S. museums are accredited. The Museum of Riverside achieved this goal with the support of many, and the staff extends grateful thanks to all.
While our main site is being transformed, book a tour of Heritage House or take part in programs the Museum offers around the City.
Through exhibitions and programs, the Museum introduces you to fascinating ideas, shares a rich collection, and invites your engagement.
The Museum looks forward to reopening the main downtown site in 2027 when a beloved historic building will be enhanced with exciting additions and a renewed focus on Riverside’s stories.
