The Planetary Health Piñata Project

May 28 @ 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm

The Planetary Health Piñata Project is art-based public health intervention to engage youth and the community at large on policy, systems and environmental changes that can improve health outcomes.

Each piñata, some made individually and some by teams, represent community issues and themes associated with planetary and human health.

In this capacity, he works with non-traditional partners to improve health outcomes, through policy, community design, coalition building and community engagement. Mr. Vazquez holds a BA on Urban Studies and Planning from Cal State University Northridge and is pursuing a Master in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.

Blue Zones will be on site to share a mango sorbet recipe and samples you won’t want to miss!
